Litcon, short for literary convention, 

began in 2019 as the brainchild of Christie Melton, the Children's Librarian here at the

W. Walworth Harrison Public Library,

a lifelong fan of comics, herself.

Despite the challenges presented by the

recent pandemic, Litcon has managed to

grow each year into a celebrated annual

event where people of all ages can come together to celebrate their favorite

fandoms across pop-culture!
